Interviewing changed forever in 2020, and for a while it was OK that clients didn't have a professional background, fumbled around a bit on Zoom, and may not have had a great presence on video.

But according to the latest Jobvite data, virtual interviews are here to stay and our clients need to polish up their performance to engage in meaningful conversations with employers, demonstrate their virtual work skills, and compete for the jobs they really want.

We've taken our tried and true interview preparation materials and given them a modern-day upgrade, freshened up the arsenal of tools clients need, and are ready to share them with you to use with your clients!

After this session you will walk away with:

Coaching questions to help a client identify their challenges and style
Research and resources on virtual communication that any client can use to improve their video presence
Checklists and resources to help them prepare for the interview so they are more comfortable and stand out from the crowd (most of whom still fail to do the research!)
A virtual interview feedback process, checklist, and feedback grid so you can provide meaningful feedback for every client after a mock interview
Research, resources, scripts, and coaching questions for helping clients navigate new challenges like negotiating remote/hybrid work, email salary negotiation, and location-based salary

About the Presenter

Marie Zimenoff, CEO of Career Thought Leaders and Resume Writing Academy, knows career services have the power to change lives. She began her professional career as an advisor and recruiter in higher education while completing her M.Ed. in Human Resource Studies and Career & Counseling Development. In 2008—the peak of the Great Recession—Marie left the university to start her business.
